Regulations change. This page summarises published Oregon rules as reviewed October 2026 and is not legal advice; the conditions printed on your permit control. Note: Oregon escort rules vary by route and ODOT district (Route Map 2 and the State/District Guidelines); no single statewide width trigger exists, so escortOneWidthFt is null. Per the May 2026 guidelines, Interstate/multilane loads up to 16 ft follow Route Map 2; 16 ft 1 in to 18 or 20 ft needs two rear pilots or one front plus one rear (district dependent); wider is case by case. Height pole: single-trip loads over 14 ft 6 in may need a front pilot with height pole unless a signed height declaration is filed. 14 ft legal height per ODOT page. Permit phone 503-373-0000 is the Salem CCD number on the Over-Dimension page. State admin fee for single-trip OS/OW permit is $8; ORION is the permit portal.
